The incumbent will support Assistant Manager and Manager of Financial Accounting and Reporting to perform financial accounting, consolidation, review and reporting for major entities/transactions within the Group.
Job Description:
Obtaining and extracting information from various parties related to Lease contract
Analysis of the lease contracts in accordance to IFRS 16
Analysis of impact on the implementation of the new standard IFRS 16 Leases
Assisting the Assistant Manager / Manager in the maintenance of the IFRS contracts
Perform analysis on certain Balance Sheet / Profit & Loss accounts
Ensure period close activities are completed on a consistent, accurate, timely basis and in accordance with work instructions and month end closing checklist
Assist in reclassification / ad-hoc journals for reporting
Assist in preparing certain reporting and balance sheet reconciliation schedules
Attend to any ad hoc request and contribute to problem solving for ad hoc issues which arise during period close
Support any other projects and tasks to be assigned from time to time.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications:
1 years previous work experience within a finance environment
Working knowledge of using SAP or a similar Finance package
Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
