The incumbent will support Manager and Director of Financial Accounting and Reporting to perform financial accounting, consolidation, review and reporting for major entities/transactions within the Group and to assist in new standards implementation.
Job Description:
Managing of the new accounting system for new standard implementation on IFRS 16 Leases
Analysis and maintenance of IFRS 16 contracts
Analysis of impact on the implementation of the new standard IFRS 16 Leases
Assist the Manager on the overall implementation of the IFRS 16
Reviewing analysis and work performed by the Analysts
Ensure process documentation is complete and accurate for all processes
Perform analysis on certain BS / PL GL account
Performs periodic schedules and analysis for monthly closing
Review of accounting report and journals for monthly closing
Completion of Financial Statements during year end
Review quarterly balance sheet reconciliation
Attend to any ad hoc request and contribute to problem solving for ad hoc issues which arise during period close
Support any other projects and tasks to be assigned from time to time.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting
At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
Working experience in an Audit Firm
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Words
