Quality and Food Safety Coordinator
Duration: 1 year contract (any conversion depends on headcounts & performance)
Company: MNC Bio Company
Location: Prai Industrial Estate, Penang, Malaysia.
Salary: RM2500 - 3500 (depends on working experience)
Benefits: AL, ML, Medical claim, EPF, SOCSO, H&S, PA insurance, 1 month completion bonus
Working hours: 8.00am – 5.00pm (Monday to Friday)
Responsibilities
- Coordinating all customers’ enquiries in relate to Products sold by the company such as certificate, statements, short question, shelf life extension, etc.
- Maintaining the documents in relate to Raw Materials used in the plant
- Coordinating in new/ alternative raw material or new/ alternative vendor’s approval.
- Coordinating in regulatory’s registration and compliances or customer requirement, such as FDA, HALAL, Kosher, Free Sales Certificate, Health Certificate, etc.
- Provide day to day product support throughout entire value chain including customers, Sales, Innovation, product manager, PS&RA, sourcing, operation (planning, production, QA, QC), customer service, warehouse & logistics so as to ensure the regulatory food safety standard, quality compliance.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent, preferably in Food related study with previous working experience (Min. 2 years envisaged) in a Food Manufacturing environment
- Equip with basic food ingredient regulatory and product knowledge
- Computer literacy – Excel, Word, SAP, Lotus Notes etc.
- SAP knowledge will be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written English, including proficiency in telephone communication.
- Ability to deal with complexity of information and schedules and effectively co-ordinate activities to achieve deadlines.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
