Job Responsibility:
- Ensure effective maintenance of full set of accounts, GST and income tax submission, cash flow forecast and accurate reporting of financial matters/results/management reports/analysis of results and statutory matters.
- Drive consistency and cost effectiveness, ensuring strict compliance with all accounting procedures and company policies where applicable.
- Drawing up the Annual Budget and financial analysis.
- Attend to GST, auditors and tax agents on any queries and meet stipulated deadlines.
- Liaise with company’s secretary to deal with statutory filing and secretarial matters.
- Update weekly reports ie cash book, cash flow, AR tracking and consultant sales and margin.
- Preparation of tax provision, monthly and quarterly GST submission.
- Preparation of accrual reports and estimation amount for clients whom requested.
- Payment to suppliers ie office rent, cleaning maintenance, electricity, internet etc and other payments as and when needed.
- Maintain the computerized accounting system with correct recording of journal entries and payment vouchers.
- Issuance of invoices, credit notes, debit notes, purchase order and intercompany charges.
- Prepare monthly closing reports ie financial statement of profit and loss and balance sheet and other reports
- Maintain a proper filing record.
- Perform bank reconciliation, bank in cheques and make payment to GST/IRB/GST and statutory bodies, arrange dispatch
- Respond to consultants needs of any financial matters.
- Office administrative tasks such as ordering of stationeries and pantry supplies, office equipment, update suppliers listing, request quotations
- Adhering to the monthly report datelines to the management
Job Requirement:
- At least Bachelor's Degree/ Professional Degree in Finance/ Accountancy
- Possess in-depth knowledge of accounting system, Accounting framework and regulations.
- Have good knowledge in GST, audit and taxation
- PC literate especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Financial Management skills including budgeting and forecasting will be an advantage
- Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills including relationship building
